Ganja Granny Sez The Global Marijuana March on Saturday, May 1st. is only a few days away. I expect you will all be able to attend this event. It is unpredictable from year to year but always worth the entertainment it provides. What is most amazing is that any one person can coordinate almost 300 cities to rally and march at approximately the same time we do here at home. This is an extraordinary feat in itself. The credit goes to Dana Beal. Each city, in the world that has signed on with Cures Not Wars, including the USA usually has greater success than we do in NYC. Thats hard to imagine considering we are one of the number one fabulous cities in the world. A city that never sleeps. A city where if you stand in Times square long enough, everyone you have ever known or met will eventually pass by. A city, where there is always a chance that you will attain your dream because the opportunity is always “just around the corner”. Yet from all the cities in this world , especially the ones who have signed on for this event, we have the smallest turn out. That does not say much for NYC. Either no one cares… they are afraid….or they are not aware? I think we are going to change that this year because we are aware, not afraid and we do care. How can you continue to light up and not know whats going on? Every time you tune in to anything, someone is mentioning the word marijuana…How can you not know whats going on???? We need as many people as possible to participate and show solidarity. We need to stand together and show the public in a most peaceful respectful manner as possible what our message is and what we are about. We want and need the everyday persons’ support as well as the rest of humanity. No one said it would be easy! Its been a battle from day one. I don’t think that the average person is aware how many people are involved in trying to make medical marijuana and any marijuana a legal choice in our country. NUFF SAID! On a personal level I try to take advantage of each opportunity as it is presented to me so I may tell everyone of our goal to LEGALIZE.Join me next Saturday. I will ride on the red float/truck with a film crew who will be doing a documentary on the adventures of Ganja Granny and what this particular Rally/Parade is about….Whenever you see me, please say HIGH! ( I SAID SAY HIGH! NOT STAY HIGH/ remember we wanna make it legal)) in the meantime, like always…God Bless ALL the GOOD STUFF coming your way! Stay Blazed!
