Happy Memorial Day Weekend
Ganja Granny Sez WHERE IS THAT LEGAL HIT??? We are having a great time adding footage to our documentary The Adventures of Ganja Granny’s Quest for a Legal Hit everywhere we can. On Sunday,May 23rd Sidlocks from Multilocks TV Productions and I attended a forum for potential candidates in NY presented by DEMOCRACY for NY. Definitely No Legal Hits Here. However, we were lucky enough to interview Mr.Randy Credico, a NYC resident and famed long time show business comedian/ impressionist who is seeking a U.S.Senate nomination in NYS. Among the many issues concerning us all, is his support for the legalization of marijuana. You have to applaud this guy for his honesty and courage to step up to the plate and tell it like it is. We also talked to Mr. Kevin Powell who is running for Congress (10th District)in Brooklyn. A passionate gentleman to say the least, especially when concerning his community, his love for Brooklyn and his desire to make a difference. Mr.Powell supports Medical Marijuana but not total legalization. He sites abuse in his area. The third was an interview with a feisty young 78 yr old political activist who definitely supports total legalization. I apologize because I failed to get this lively lady’s name…..Ganja Granny does not tell anyone who to vote for. Ganja Granny emphasizes that we exercise our right to vote and to educate ourselves on each candidate whose name will appear on the ballot. It is critical for everyone concerned to educate themselves. It is not too early to begin…..In the meantime, we now have our Ganja Granny’s Quest trailer/teaser on utube and hope by this weekend it will be on all the social networks including this site. We still have a way to go but we will keep you posted on our progress and whereabouts. You never know…We could show up in YOUR SMOKED FILLED CLOSET….. Ganja Granny hopes that everyone is enjoying the pleasant weather we are experiencing and your holiday weekend will bring you all out of your smoke filled closets long enough to support us and sign our petition to the president of the U.S. to abolish prohibition of Marijuana in our country. Certainly we have come a long way since 1937, particularly in the past few years. Unfortunately, in reference to medical patients who might benefit from using marijuana as an alternative to legally prescribed medication it is not happening fast enough. I know exactly how they feel. I have been there and I did that. When you are sick you do not think about the law. You only think about relief. I am confident that this year we will provide that relief in New York State. Ganja Granny Sez our time has come. Everyone has to contribute by doing everything they can to make this a reality. In the meantime Ganja Granny continues her search for a legal hit. Ganja Granny Sez Stay out of trouble because we need you and your support. It ain’t legal yet! God Bless all THE GOOD STUFF COMING YOUR WAY! STAY BLAZED!
