GANJA GRANNY SEZ LETS GET IT ON!12/15/10
Ganja Granny sez LETS GET IT ON! The time is ripe with possibilities and we all have to keep up the momentum. Tuesday Night 12/14… I was a guest on ” Let Them Talk” on channel 56 in NYC, along with Ken Unger calling in from Missouri. Paul DeRienzo and Joan Marie Moossy are the charming duo hosting this show. Their calming and reassuring attitude makes everyone feel at home. The show will be posted on the net in the next day or two. If you did not catch it live ..you can view it on the net.. I am sooooo excited because I believe, without a doubt that we will get the support we need for Ken Unger in St. Charles, Missouri near St. Louis. Mr. Unger will go to court on the 20th of December. At that time, we will know exactly where this case stands. Obviously, because his attorney has not received the police reports and other legal instruments concerning this case, Ms. Beershup will ask for a postponement. We know that there is no medical marijuana defense in the state of Missouri and we know that Cannabis for any reason is not legal in Missouri. At the same time, we all know, if it were you or I facing up to 15 years in prison we would want support. We want to know that someone is doing all they can for our particular situation. I want to see a Defense Commitee established. I think there should be some fund raisers and I think there should be some serious letter writing on Ken Unger’s behalf and I think we should pack the courtroom with supporters at the appropriate time. Christmas Day is Kens birthday. I hope he will celebrate this day with the Gift of Friendship and Hope, knowing that someone cares. This case only intensifies my feelings concerning Legalization and the overwhelming expense to each and every taxpayer in this country, fighting a war that we perpetuate by keeping cannabis a major crime. It is a known fact that when alcohol prohibition ended, the tax revenue it generated helped this country fight a REAL WAR. We won World War 2! A treacherous bloody unforgettable war that threatened the entire world. We will not win this war on drugs, particularly marijuana. Not in my lifetime and certainly not in yours. At this point in time,It is costing this country close to 50 billion dollars. It is mind boggling when you think of the multitude of positive, result bearing ways this money could be spent. If you are reading this, think about Ken Unger. Think about what this arrest has cost him and the taxpayers . Think about shame, because thats’ what it is! A shame.. that we would treat anyone who is ill and would benefit from an alternative prescription for relief. as a common criminal and worse than a terrorist. Did it really take 12 seriously armed cops to take him out??? What did that cost? How could those resources have been better used? How many criminals got away with, who knows what…. because extra police power was diverted to taking out a 100% disabled Vet with 6 stents in his heart and two measly plants! More than that, think how shameful it is to treat anyone who has served our country honorably in the armed forces in this manner. Please do not think anymore about what you can do or will do. Do IT! Do IT NOW! Contact the newspapers, send in your letters of protest and support. Contact your political representatives locally and in the state of Missouri. Last but not least, write a letter to the president of the United States of America. President Barack H. Obama. If we are going to stand together to be there for Ken Unger..Ganja Granny sez LETS GET IT ON! Keep it Lit and Pass it On!I am listing here the local papers web sites in Missouri.
