GANJA GRANNY sez GIM’ME A LITE 3/28/11
Ganja Granny sez Somebody give me a lite…PLEASE! I really need to chill! Still involved with Ken Ungers case in Missouri and the Preliminary Hearing has been canceled. Ken will now go for arraignment, on April 15th. Once they set a trial date I will fly to Missouri to give him support. Adrienne Sedlack is organizing with students from Columbia College to pack the court house in St. Charles with supporters. Ms. Sedlack is reliable and a responsible rising activist. In the meantime, I admit I have not given much consideration to Ms. Patricia Spottedcrow who was sentenced in Oklahoma recently to 10 YEARS for selling 31 dollars worth of Marijuana. She had no previous record and this was her first attempt establishing a new career to earn extra money. The 26 yr old mother of four admitted she also smoked pot…Her 50 year old mother was arrested with her daughter but escaped doing jail time. The judge felt she could take care of the 4 kids while Patricia did her 10 yr bit, courtesy of taxpayers money. I agree she was more than stupid, selling a little weed, with the children present. It certainly did not help her case and I assume this is the reason the Judge threw the book at her. I can’t imagine any responsible mother doing this, not knowing her circumstances at the time, I am not going to judge her reasoning. I can only think of the 6 lives PLUS that will be forever scarred… I say PLUS… because I am certain there is a ripple effect and others in the immediate family and friends are also touched by the unreasonable sentence Patricia must serve. Would it not have been more productive to educate this woman while on close supervised probation? Actually, there is no point even going there… The point I want to make is… IT SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED! These stupid marijuana laws should have never been in place! They have only succeeded in cultivating a criminal element in society and in law enforcement. There is a movement in progress to get Governor Mary Fallin (R) of Oklahoma to commute Patricia’s sentence. The governor is finding it difficult to close a 500 hundred million dollar budget gap. It is my contention she should start by commuting Ms. Spotedcrow’s 10 yr. sentence AND Legalizing and taxing marijuana in the state of Oklahoma. It may not close the gap but I am sure it would make a huge dent in that 500 million dollar hole. There is another case in California where Dr.Marion” Molly” Fry and her husband of 25 yrs, civil attorney Dale Schaffer will turn themselves in on May 2nd to begin a five year federal sentence for Manufacturing and Conspiracy to Manufacture and Distribute. They fought this case for six years, including losing three appeals. Dr. Fry is a Breast cancer survivor like myself, having endured a radical mastectomy. I have posted the case details on Smoke Signals on this site… 4/20 is almost upon us and we should all take part in any events planned locally and otherwise. I am considering going to Washington D.C. to take part in “Overgrow The Government” march and rally Next week I will post more about this upcoming event as I get the latest news. I can conclude, urging everyone to take time to write to Governor Mary Fallin, 120 N. Robinson Ave #100, Oklahoma City,OK 73102-7461… Tel #405 234 9900. Don’t forget Dr. Fry And her Husband. I will direct my letter concerning their situation to President Obama asking for a commutation of their sentences. The presidents address is

Visitors Office: 202-456-2121……………………Last but not least I think we should write to Government officials on all levels, including the Governor of Missouri protesting Ken Ungers arrest. All of these cases are funded by American Taxpayers. We can no longer support stupidity or the Politicians who continue to hold us hostage through their ignorance. Ganja Granny sez Stand up and speak out! Wear a green ribbon proudly to show support for Legalization and by all means… KEEP IT LIT! and PASS IT AROUND! P.S. To dear supporter,” rsbrock” please forget the hunger strike idea. We need you healthy and alive. There are many other ways you can demonstrate your support. Consider joining forces with an established organization or by participating in a letter campaign. Stay positive and God Bless ALL the GOOD STUFF Coming Your Way!
