GANJA GRANNY sez, Legalize is our battle cry but its going to take more than screaming legalize from the roof tops to make it happen.. In my mind it always comes down to education and mainstream America. On both coasts and in cosmopolitan areas people seem to be more aware than anywhere else. “Seeming to be” and actually being are two different things.. Everyday on FB, You Tube, various social sites, everyday hanging with homies, amounts to preaching to the choir. I hate to be repetitive but thats what it is. ” It is what it is” applies here. If we are truly dedicated, responsible activists and supporters…. we already know that. Its all about educating MAIN STREAM AMERICANS. Its difficult for me to think they are not aware.. Being aware does not mean educated and thats where I think we ALL have an obligation to educate everyone we can.. These opportunities are presented to each one of us in a myriad of ways.. Hopefully we all recognize them…Like.. How stoned can you be?… Recently, someone asked me ” Whats the hold up”????? A legitimate question that surely baffles anyone from either side who are fully entrenched in this ridiculous war on drugs, cannabis in particular…. My reply remains the same….. The hold up is… If you think you have done everything you could possibly do…. THINK AGAIN! Many people are trying and that is GOOD but it is my opinion, we need to be TRYING TOGETHER and doing more. We can always give a little more than we think we are capable of.. Its like looking at a tiny weeny rich and attempting to get one more hit.. At some point we must ALL come together. Assuming we are all together, then its a no brainer to know there absolutely is no room in this movement for infantile behavior, petty differences, etc. This is a serious undertaking that previous generations for the past 75 yrs including the 40 + years WAR ON DRUGS have not succeeded in advancing, let alone winning. It is by looking back today and learning what went wrong yesterday that we can improve tomorrow. These are desperate times, people…… our people want answers.. patients want relief. People are getting arrested in record numbers for minor marijuana violations. We are use to that…. but we have not been able to digest the recent acceleration of raids and busts. All orchestrated and directed at dispensaries in particular in record numbers… This week many people will travel to Washington DC….Many people will celebrate 4/20 wherever they are.. While we are celebrating we cannot forget that we still need to get our message out there.. Stop The Drug Wars! Legalize! The reward is not fame, money or free weed.. The reward is our FREEDOM to exercise our right to indulge in Cannabis w/o fear of arrest or worse.. Worse you ask????? Worse is when you take into consider all those who have lost their lives directly or indirectly due to these insane laws. Worse… is when you think of all the people whose lives were ruined as a result of US policy regarding Cannabis and drugs in general… We are engaged in a serious conflict in this so called lWAR ON DRUGS these past 40 plus years along with 75 yrs of FEDERAL PROHIBITION Hopefully our Government will reverse policy via the urging of al those who attended the summit this past week in South America We have all suffered enough! No one in their right mind could possibly want to continue the US war on drugs unless they were profiting financially or otherwise. .….On another TOKE and Lord knows Ganja Granny has had a few, join us on FRIDAY NIGHT( 4/20) atBENTO HAMBURGERS for a PRE CELEBRATION FUND RAISER TO FACILITATE THE CANNABIS MARCH/RALLY ( sort of a STOP n’ FRISK PARTY) on Saturday, MAY 5th…SHOW YOUR SUPPORT.
